Is this burnout? Overtraining? Depression?
Lately, something has shifted. Your athlete heads straight to their room after practice, snaps at you over nothing, and insists they’re “fine” when they’re not.
Every conversation goes sideways, and you lie awake wondering if this is just typical pressure, or something else you’re missing.
Learn what’s normal, what’s not, how to respond at home, and when to get professional help, across anxiety, depression, ADHD, and REDs.
Plus explore the mental performance tools that help athletes compete with confidence.
Master the mental side of the game, from the sidelines.
WELCOME, FRIEND!
I'm Dr. Linda Kim.
I'm a Harvard-trained, certified sports psychiatrist — and a mother of three elite athletes, including a Harvard D1 athlete, another D1 Ivy recruit, and a younger athlete following the same path.
I didn't just study this professionally. I lived it — the 6 a.m. training sessions, the recruiting calls, the quiet dinner-table moments where I wasn't sure if what I was seeing in my own kids was normal stress or something more.
This site is everything I learned, professionally and personally, distilled into a system so you don't have to figure it out alone, in real time, under pressure.

Unlock Real Performance
Learn the mental game — sleep, confidence, visualization, and how to help your athlete handle pressure without letting it define them.
The strength they build in sport doesn’t stay in sport.
The confidence, focus, and resilience that carry your athlete through pressure also show up in a hard exam, a demanding recruiting process, and the life that comes after the final whistle. You’re not just supporting them through a season. You’re helping them build a foundation for whatever comes next.
Become Your Athlete's Biggest Advocate
Is it a bad season, or something more? Learn how depression, anxiety, and ADHD show up in athletes, and when to get help.
Athletes are trained to push through. Depression can look like lack of motivation, anxiety like a bad attitude, ADHD like not caring. Parents and coaches are often the first to notice that something has shifted and the first to need to know what it means.
This course isn't about becoming a therapist. It's about becoming the steady, informed presence your athlete needs most, at exactly the moments that matter most.
Knowledge is power, so learn how to become your athlete's biggest supporter.
